Yes, the skies really were that blue in St. Moritz...almost black/blue compared to the white mountains! The shot above was actually taken by my iphone after Michael and stopped during a long run for some mid-ski refreshments.
So, to be completely honest...the kids were less-than-thrilled to be attending the Club-Med ski school at the beginning of the trip. But by mid-week they started to come around and really made amazing progress. By our last day on the slopes, they were able to tackle any of the blue runs (and they started the week only having skied a handful of times at some pretty small Connecticut places).
Ah, we are all missing all the fun we had on this trip! But we have already started to think about where to ski next year, so it looks likes we're headed back to the slopes in 2011.
