I recently came across a roll of undeveloped b&w film. Yes, if you can believe it, a roll of film remained in my film camera for about 6+years and the both the camera and film made the move across the Atlantic. I guess I figured (when packing up the house) that one day I may want to pick up my old Canon film camera and I had no idea there was still film in the camera. Well, that day was a few weeks ago. The new term of after school activities has just started and Julianna is taking a photography class and needs an actual film SLR camera. So, out came the camera and I discovered the film. After waiting over a week for the developing I could hardly wait to see what was on the film...
This roll is from 2005 and I can't believe how little they were! Julianna and I both agreed her hair was so adorable at this length and this inspired us to think about a new haircut. Off we were last Saturday to my salon for her first salon experience (up to this point we have been visiting the kids' hair places with cartoons playing and all those annoying toys for sale).
She LOVED the hair-washing and scalp massage! Here are a few pics with my iphone...
and the difference?
These are both from a little project I did recently with both kids. I wanted to create a few personality portraits...they so make me laugh whenever I look at them-

more from the Algarve soon...we loved it!
until then, xx, Char
