In mid-June we enjoyed a week in Eastern Europe and took in the cities of Budapest and Vienna with a short break in the countryside of Hungary. The three destinations are arranged in a triangle, so driving seemed like the easy choice (in theory!). With the language barrier (we struggled to understand Hungarian and very few people understood English once we were outside of Budapest) and the lack of a GPS in the car, we had quite the road trip! All in all, it was a unique and memorable trip. Here are a few photos of the highlights...
